Biology carries 360 of the 720 marks in NEET, and almost every question can be traced back to a line in NCERT. Reading NCERT thoroughly – including diagrams, tables and summaries – is the single most valuable thing you can do.
Units to revise first
Genetics and Evolution – principles of inheritance and the molecular basis of inheritance.
Human Physiology – digestion, breathing, circulation, excretion, neural control and chemical coordination.
Reproduction – in flowering plants and in humans, including reproductive health.
Ecology – organisms and populations, ecosystems and biodiversity.
Cell Structure and Function – cell organelles, biomolecules and cell division.
Plant Physiology – photosynthesis, respiration and plant growth.
